LG Electronics Inc.
opened its liaison office in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia during mid
eighties, marketing its home alliances and consumer electronic
products under the brand name of Goldstar.
LG Electronics was represented by a sole distributor which carried
the entire Goldstar product line within the territory of Saudi
Arabia. In early nineties Goldstar Air Conditioners were introduced
in Saudi Arabia through it's sole Air Conditioning Distributor
H. G. Ibrahim Shaker Company. In 1996, J. Al-Jasim Electronics
Est. became the sole distributor for LG Brand Computer Monitors.
In 1995 LG Electronics consolidated its product distribution
in Saudi Arabia and created the present brand name of LG for
the purpose of sole brand identity and revitalization of its
marketing efforts. LG also changed its appliance and electronics
distributor during the first quarter of 1995 and United Yousef
M. Naghi Company came on board as the new distributor.
While H. G. Ibrahim Shaker Company remained the sole distributor
for LG brand Air Conditioners, United Naghi started marketing
LG brand products. Year 1996 was the year of Brand Transition
which proved to be fresh breeze and achieved success. By the
year 1997, all LG Electronic products were branded as "LG".
By this time LG was fully committed to its customers and had
implemented a policy of "Full Customer Satisfaction"
by asking it's distributors to set up nationwide LG After Sales
Service Centers, Showrooms and improved Dealer Network.
Presently, LG Brand products are available at exclusive LG Showrooms,
administered by the sole distributors and at all major appliance
and electronic products. Recently LG brand Mobile phones have
introduced through its distributor United Yousef M. Naghi company.
Numerous models of each LG products in each product category
are available which caters to all types and categories of customers.
LG has something for everybody.
